Just up the road from us, La Vergée, St. Aubin Fosse Louvain, is a beautifully renovated stone farmhouse in lovely surroundings and is now available to rent as a gîte.

This detached rural house has three bedrooms and sleeps seven people. The gîte is situated in a stunning private garden and is secure with fences and gates at the entrance. Fields surround the house. There is ample parking and a covered terrasse for eating alfresco. A cot and highchair are available for small people to use. There is a restored bread oven in the front garden. For a bit of fun you can fill with candels and enjoy a drink or two. 

The ground floor comprises of the kitchen, lounge, 1 bedroom (1 double and a cot), shower room and toilet. The first floor comprises of 2 bedrooms (1 double bedroom and one bedroom with 3 single beds), shower room and toilet. The gîte has electric central heating and there is an open wood fire in the lounge and French television.There is everything you need in a traditional French style. 

For those summer evenings there is a barbecue. Also in the covered terrasse there is garden furniture, 'boules' games, sand box and table tennis table at your disposal.

The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, hob and oven, coffee maker, cooking utensils, pots and pans, cutlery and crockery.

The large lounge/dining room in decorated in a traditional French style with a magnificent open fire.

This is one of the double bedrooms. Comfortable, quiet and relaxing for a perfect nights sleep.

This is another beautifully decorated double bedroom with cot.

This bedroom has three single beds. Great for adults who like space and perfect for kids. The view is the open fields to the rear of the house.

Prices

Bedding is not included in the price but is available on request at an extra charge. No pets are permitted.

Arrival at the gîte is after 4pm and departure is 10am.
